Casmalia is a producer, DJ, songwriter, and live vocalist who has taken the west coast house music scene by storm. A classically trained musician with a degree in audio engineering, Casmalia has been consistently churning out club weapons since her freshman EP in 2017 on Hood Politics Records. She has since earned affiliations with Insomniac Records, mau5trap, Night Bass, CUFF, Club Sweat, Box of Cats, IN/ROTATION, Farris Wheel, Space Yacht, and more.

 

She was named one of “2022’s Artists to Watch” by both Nightenjin and EDM Identity, and in 2025 was featured as one of Beatport’s “On Our Radar” artists for August, as well as the subject of a billboard campaign in Times Square led by SoundCloud. Her tracks have seen support from David Guetta, John Summit, Patrick Topping, Claude VonStroke, AC Slater, Green Velvet, Jamie Jones, Marco Carola, and many more across both the EDM and tech house worlds. After her widely acclaimed release “Four Letter Word” on the mau5trap/Insomniac Records compilation album in 2021, her tour schedule took off and hasn’t slowed down since. Some highlights include live vocal performances at Coachella, EDC Las Vegas, and Splash House, a b2b2b with VNSSA and LP Giobbi at Groove Cruise, and providing support for Diplo, AC Slater, Kyle Watson and Noizu on their respective tours.

 

She has been involved with LP Giobbi’s flagship project Femme House sessions, providing free educational resources to women and LGBT+ artists, by hosting an edition of Femme House sessions and helping organize an official Femme House event in San Diego. Casmalia’s sound can be described as bass-heavy with detailed percussion and can range in style from minimal to melodic. Heavily influenced by disco, Detroit-style techno and 90’s hip hop, Casmalia is known for playing mostly original songs in her sets, as well as singing her vocals live.
